TOTAL’s deep sea Egina FPSO

Project description:

• Samsung Heavy Industries is turnkey contractor for TOTAL’s Egina FPSO, the largest FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) contract to date.
• It is 330m in length, 61m across and 34m high, with a storage capacity of 2.3 million barrels

Customer challenges:

This project represents more than 2,200 km of power, instrumentation and control to service the FPSO platform, located 130km off the coast of Nigeria.
